Is anyone else following #lacgate?
If not, read the bizarre Globe and Mail article that got pulled, here.

I think the first paragraph of the column sums it all up:
Watching the dispiriting moral fumbling match that passes for a Conservative Party leadership campaign this spring, I’ve often found myself reminded of the time I tried to breastfeed Michael Chong’s baby.
In a nutshell, at a party many years ago Leah McLaren tried to breast feed Michael Chong‘s baby – but, Leah was 25 at the time, had no children, and wasn’t lactating. Chong walked in, took his son away. The end.

The moral of the bizarre story, don’t try to breastfeed other people’s kids without their consent. The column is strange. It’s disappearance is bizarre. And, the whole situation is a bit messed up.
I should mention that when Haddie was first born she tried to breast feed from me. It was funny. This ever happen to you?!??????

If you aren’t deep in the world of social-media you might have missed this story. If you are knee deep in social-media, this is old news.
PS: How lame is the hashtag #lacgate?! Like, enough with the ‘gate already.

Leah McLaren is 41 now. If she was 25 at the time of the event she describes then it was 16 years ago. Michael Chong’s oldest child is 12.
